Four-time Grammy winner and slack key guitar master George Kahumoku Jr is joined by award-winners Sonny Lim on lap steel guitar and Herb Ohta Jr on ‘ukulele, some of the most popular featured artists at George’s long-running Slack Key Show on Maui. They draw from a uniquely Hawaiian musical mix that converged in the islands – ‘ukulele introduced by Portuguese immigrants, guitar brought by Mexican vaqueros, and slide steel, invented in Hawai‘i.
