Passim is so grateful for the artistry, resilience, and vision of the inaugural cohort of The Folk Collective. These twelve artists didn’t just push boundaries—they reclaimed the diverse roots of folk music, reminding us that it has always been a tapestry of many voices. Through courageous conversations and inspiring collaborations, they brought their unique voices to the forefront, showcasing the transformative power of music. Their joyful, collaborative concerts over the past two years have left an indelible mark on Greater Boston’s music community and beyond. We honor their legacy and look forward to introducing the next cohort of The Folk Collective in the coming months.
